Gemini

“Gemini” is a self-portrait composed of two identical figures of myself. The title references multiple meanings, including the eponymous zodiac sign, twins, duality, and artificial intelligence. In a time when viewers often question whether artworks are created by humans or generated by AI, this work reflects on that skepticism. Even when artists pour countless hours and effort into their work, subtle inconsistencies are not often seen as human imperfections anymore, but rather as signs of artificial intelligence. In this piece, I ask viewers to think on how perception and assumption shape our understanding of art and our identity as artists.
