Andy Giang is an emerging artist based in Newmarket, Ontario, whose work focuses on the themes of identity and vulnerability. Andy practices art and is currently in his final year in Humber Polytechnic in the Visual and Digital Arts program. He has quickly picked up interest during these years, and plans to continue building up his passion for art.
Andy has been commissioned for various projects such as representational portraits for individuals' birthdays. Most of their artworks have been of flowers, and portraits merged with semi-abstraction. He has volunteered for Nuit Blanche, received a Grade 12 Illustration award from Sir William Mulock, and has participated in the VADA club’s exhibition, Impulse.
Andy plans to continue practicing art after graduating from Humber, pursuing being an independent visual artist while they participate in various galleries and exhibitions. Andy's works can be found in the exhibition, Lingua Franca, this April of 2026.
